Why GlucoTV Exists

As a parent of a child diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at just two years old, I know the constant vigilance that comes with the territory. The endless checking of receivers, phones, and watches at all hours of the day gets exhausting fast.

I wanted something more convenient, something you could see at a glance without picking up a device. The TV was already on. It is the biggest screen in the house. Why not use it?

So I built GlucoTV, first for my child, then realized other families in the diabetes community were dealing with the same struggles. Parents watching overnight. Caregivers across the room. People who just want their numbers visible while going about their day.

The goal was simple: free, easy, and always visible. No subscriptions for the basics. No complexity. Just your glucose on the screen that is already in front of you.

What We Stand For

What's Coming

GlucoTV is actively developed. Some things on the roadmap:

Premium chart features — Extended time ranges (6hr, 12hr, 24hr) with color-coded data points showing in-range, near-limit, and out-of-range readings at a glance.

More CGM support — Libre and other systems are on the list.

Low glucose alerts — Audio and visual alerts when readings drop below your alarm threshold.

Multiple profiles — Support for households monitoring more than one person's glucose.
